First floor..work is started!

I know, more pictures of sheetrock.. but now it's the first floor! Here is one of three shots of the parlor.

Here is the old kitchen section, off the new kitchen..

This photo is of the new kitchen area.. getting set up to start applying spackle.



So far, the rooms have only one coat of spackle, and it needs two.. so a little more left to do, and a second coat can be applied.

Putting it back together.. slowly

It's nice to see things going back together.. here is one window frame all back, and looking real good! It was stripped, and all the imperfections were filled, and put back up.. it's really starting to loook like something!


OK another photo of the same window, but it looked so nice, I couldn't decide which photo to use..


I just thought maybe seeing it in different views would show off the details of it more, it's actually a nice frame..

There was a lot of stripping involved, but he did a lovely job, we have a lot more stripped, except he forgot to bring home the sills and window stops.. so this trip this weekend, he will gather them up, so they can be cleaned up also, and reinstalled. I should have more pics Sunday, if things go right :)
