Railing Spindles
DH has copied an original spindle from the house, and made a pretty good copy! Here is a photo of it, showing both spindles still on the lathe.

DH did a great job with the lathe.
Something I hate about old places is the decades of paint and old wallpapers, I remeber taking several layers off at mums, some of them were hideous.
